Reflecting on the utilitarian nature of vintage tools and their aesthetic charm. This chair is inspired by a tækkeskovl, or thatching leggett, commonly used to pat the straw into the desired position during the construction of the thatched roofs. With it, Mario aims to bring back some of that innate beauty from objects of the past. Part of A Calm Place exhibition during 3daysofdesign curated by Sara de Campos and Sébastien El Idrissi.
